Prostatitis and CBD

When I was in my mid-twenties, I developed an inflamed prostate which caused severe pain and discomfort.  My job required me to travel several miles each day.  The prostatitis progressed to the point where it felt like I was sitting on a basketball while I was driving.  In addition, I was learning to live with a low-grade fever which accompanied my condition.

My urologist told me that a low-dose antibiotic was the only treatment in which he had seen acceptable results.  I didn’t want to ingest prescription drugs, but once I started on the antibiotic, the relief I felt overcame my resistance to take the man-made pill.  I was continuously keeping my eyes open for an alternative to this prescription. 

As the years went by, I would periodically stop taking the antibiotic until the discomfort increased to the point where I had no choice but to restart the prescription to obtain relief again.  Eventually, side-effects from the antibiotic started to occur in my body.  Nausea became a daily annoyance and started to take a toll on me.  In addition, my sexual desire was decreasing along with normal fulfillment.  This seemed to produce slight anxiety in my mind.
