CBD: Oil vs. Gold Concentrate

After researching, using and sharing CBD (cannabidiol) for many years, I have discovered that there are inconsistencies in the product.  When CBD oil started getting popular, the most common method of ingesting was using an eyedropper to syphon oil from a small bottle.  This is what I used when I was first introduced to CBD.

I had suffered from minor arthritis since I was in my early twenties and was always looking for natural methods to get relief.  I read an article about how CBD reduced inflammation in the joints and offered many other health benefits.  I was a bit apprehensive to try it, but when a person suffers from pain, no matter what the degree, the hope of relief outweighs the risk of side effects.

After purchasing a bottle of CBD I squirted an eyedropper of the oil into my mouth.  It tasted like rotted vegetables mixed with tar.  (I found out later that chemical extraction was used to make this oil).  When the nausea passed, I was eagerly waiting to feel some relief.  Not noticing any difference, I tried another dose—still nothing.  After consuming most of the bottle over the next week, I regretfully stopped taking it.

Still reading and hearing about the benefits of cannabidiol over the next few months, I decided to start researching more intensely. Soon I discovered that chemical extraction is harmful and should not be consumed.  I also noticed that most CBD bottles had many ingredients such as; tea tree oil, vitamin E, avocado oil, jojoba oil, rosemary oil, apricot oil, soybean oil, flavorings and other additives to name a few.

After discovering cold Co2-extracted CBD from industrial hemp, I decided to give it another try.  I chose the Gold Concentrate because the concentration of cannabidiol is up to 27%.  Within ten minutes from taking the first dose sublingually, I didn’t have any pain or discomfort!  This was over three years ago, and I still take it as needed.  Gold Concentrate has become an important part of my life.
